improved planning of load to be carried for each run and reduced inventory at stocking locations. Further
with visibility of stock position across the distribution chain, upwards from retailer’s shelf to feeder
warehouses, the solution helps in managing the inventory carrying cost at each location as well as reducing
the bull-whip effect in production planning process.
The solution includes daily loads for each run to be planned based on Organizational policies of load
